Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to deliver your eSIM and support your order: your email, order details, and eSIM usage status.
Who we are
TealSim is a trading name of XY Squared Management Pty Ltd (ABN 89 672 898 485), registered in Australia and the data controller for your information. Reach us at support@tealsim.com.
What we collect
Email address, purchase and eSIM records, and first-party usage events (which pages you visit and where checkout fails) tied to a random, anonymous session cookie — never your name or identity. If you accept analytics cookies we also collect Google Analytics measurement data; see below.
How we use it
To provision and deliver your eSIM, send your QR and receipt, and provide support. We never sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
Strictly necessary cookies keep your session, cart currency and sign-in working, and record anonymous first-party usage events; these are always on and carry no identifier. Google Analytics is optional and off until you accept it — we ask on your first visit, and until you accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga) to recognise returning visits and measure which campaigns lead to orders. You can change your mind any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which brings the choice back and removes any analytics cookies already set.
Marketing measurement
When you arrive from an ad or campaign link we store the campaign name from the link (for example utm_source) in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days and record it against any resulting order, so we can tell which campaigns work. This holds no identifier and is not used to profile or target you.
Processors
Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal; email by our transactional provider; connectivity by our eSIM supplier; and, if you accept analytics cookies, measurement by Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), which may involve a transfer of data to the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses.
